The four most common types are fork positioners (spread or close the forks hydraulically without the operator dismounting), sideshifters (shift the entire fork assembly left or right to fine-tune load placement), paper roll clamps (grip, carry and rotate cylindrical paper, plastic or textile rolls), and forklift rotators (rotate the forks or carriage up to 360° continuously for dumping, emptying bins or positioning awkward loads).

Buyers are typically warehouse operations, distribution centres, paper mills, printing facilities, food and beverage plants, automotive parts warehouses, and any facility handling non-pallet loads at volume. • What is your forklift's auxiliary hydraulic capacity? Every attachment on this page uses the truck's existing auxiliary circuit. Check your forklift's rated auxiliary flow (L/min) and pressure (bar) against the attachment's hydraulic spec before ordering. The PDP spec sheets list both. • What ITA carriage class is your forklift? All JL attachments mount via ITA hook-on. Class II (inner width 381 mm), Class III (inner width 476 mm) and Class IV (inner width 622 mm) all differ. The sideshifter and fork positioner cover Class II–IV; the rotator covers Class II–III. Confirm before you order — carriage class is stamped on the mast data plate.
• What is the load type? Standard palletised loads → sideshifter or fork positioner. Cylindrical paper, textile or plastic rolls → paper roll clamp. Bins, containers or loads that need to be tipped or emptied in-place → forklift rotator. • What is your capacity need? Capacity ratings for attachments are derated from the forklift's base rated capacity — adding any attachment reduces your effective lift capacity. The fork positioner and sideshifter are rated to 2,500–7,500 kg; the paper roll clamp to 1,500–2,500 kg; the rotator to 2,500–4,500 kg.
