A fork positioner does one thing that makes a big difference on a busy floor: it lets the operator adjust fork spread from the seat, hydraulically, without climbing off the truck. That matters every time the load changes — Euro pallets, North American GMA pallets, non-standard industrial pallets, custom skids. Without a positioner you're repositioning the truck or adjusting forks by hand. With one, you adjust from the controls and get on with the move.
The JL-FP mounts on ITA standard carriages in Class II, Class III and Class IV. The hydraulic cylinder drives both carriages simultaneously, keeping spread symmetric around centre. The three capacity ratings — 2,500 kg, 5,000 kg and 7,500 kg — cover counterbalance forklifts from 2.5-tonne warehouse trucks up through 7.5-tonne heavy industrial units. If your forklift capacity is 3,500 kg, you want the 5,000 kg attachment to keep adequate load-centre margin.
The JL-FP 25 opens from a minimum inner spread of approximately 160 mm to a maximum outer spread of approximately 1,800 mm — covering every standard pallet footprint in North American and European distribution. The JL-FP 50 and JL-FP 75 run wider maximums to match the broader fork widths used on larger capacity trucks. Specify your minimum and maximum fork positions at order if your application has tight limits; the factory can set the mechanical stops accordingly.
Hook-on ITA mounting means no welding, no drilling, no crane required for installation — two technicians and a set of hand tools. The attachment ships fully assembled. Connect the hydraulic hoses to your forklift's auxiliary circuit, hook on, secure the retainer pins and test the spread function. The whole process typically takes under an hour. Hydraulic couplers are SAE standard; adapters are available if your truck uses JIC or BSP fittings.
Capacity, spread range, mounting class — all on the page. No "contact us for specs," no fine print, no surprise at delivery.

Fork spread min/max specs are indicative for standard configurations. Custom mechanical stops available at order. Verify carriage class and backrest height against your forklift manufacturer's specification before ordering. All specs verified against the factory data sheet shipped with the unit.
A fork positioner is only useful if the operator uses it. These are the design decisions that make it fast, reliable and worth the mount point.
Spread adjustment happens from the auxiliary hydraulic controls — no dismounting, no manual fork adjustment, no wrench. One lever movement, fork spread set.
A single double-acting cylinder drives both fork carriages simultaneously, keeping spread centred automatically. No offset, no asymmetric load hangover.
Fits ITA Class II, III and IV standard carriages without drilling or welding. Field installation in under an hour with basic hand tools and two technicians.
From narrow inner positions for single-stringer pallets to wide-spread for non-standard skids — one attachment handles the full range of your mixed load floor.
Welded steel construction rated to full carriage capacity with industry-standard safety factors. Powder-coated for corrosion resistance in warehouse environments.
CE marked against the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. Declaration of Conformity, operator's manual and QC inspection sheet ship in the crate with the unit.
Every JL-FP ships with the documentation a procurement team or equipment manager actually asks for, packed with the unit. No portal, no email chase.
Cascade and Bolzoni make excellent attachments. So do we. The difference is the distributor network, the brand badge and the margin built into every quote that crosses a dealer's desk.
