A forklift rotator is a relatively small piece of steel that eliminates a disproportionately large number of manual handling steps. The core function is simple: the fork carriage can rotate through a full 360 degrees in either direction, under hydraulic power, while the truck is stationary. That means you can lift a container, rotate it to dump the contents, and return it upright — without reversing the truck, without a second operator, without a manual tipping rig.
Applications are concentrated in a handful of industries: recycling and waste collection (container tipping), metals and manufacturing (coil and spool turning), food processing (bin emptying), chemical and automotive (rotating crates and trays). If your operation involves regularly turning loads or emptying containers, a rotator is almost always faster and safer than the alternatives.
The JL-FR 25 (2,500 kg) and JL-FR 45 (4,500 kg) use the same planetary-drive rotation mechanism. The difference is the frame section size, the carriage plate dimensions and the hydraulic motor displacement. Both provide continuous bidirectional rotation — no stop-and-reverse, no indexing, no limit to the rotation angle. Rotation speed is approximately 3–4 rpm under load, giving controlled, deliberate movement rather than free-spin.
The JL-FR mounts on ITA Class II (JL-FR 25) and Class III (JL-FR 45) standard carriages via the hook-on system — no welding, no drilling. It requires two auxiliary hydraulic circuits from the forklift: one for tilt, one for rotation. Most modern counterbalance forklifts with an auxiliary valve circuit can accommodate this. If your truck has only a single auxiliary circuit, a diverter valve kit is available from us at order. SAE couplers ship standard; JIC and BSP adapters available.

Attachment weight and overall width specs are indicative for standard fork carriage widths. Verify carriage class, backrest height and auxiliary hydraulic circuit availability against your forklift manufacturer's specification before ordering. All specs verified against factory data sheet.
Rotators accumulate more hydraulic cycles per shift than almost any other attachment. The engineering that matters here is longevity under continuous use, not showroom spec.
No limit stops, no indexing, no hard stop at ±90° like some cheaper designs. Full continuous rotation in either direction means you can dump, invert and return in a single fluid motion.
A hydraulic planetary gear motor provides consistent torque across the full rotation — no slowing at the top of the arc, no jerk at the bottom. High torque at low speed gives controlled movement under load.
A large-diameter slewing ring bearing handles the combined radial, axial and moment loads of a rotating lifted load. Greased on a maintenance schedule — not a sealed-for-life bearing that fails without warning.
Fits ITA Class II and III standard carriages without drilling or welding. Field-swappable — comes off when you need a different attachment, goes back on for rotator work.
The carriage frame is designed with an open centre section, keeping the operator's sightline through the mast clear during rotation and load positioning — the design Cascade RC series made standard.
CE marked against the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. Declaration of Conformity, operator's manual, maintenance schedule and QC inspection sheet ship in the crate with the unit.
Every JL-FR ships with the documentation a procurement team or safety officer actually asks for, packed with the unit. No portal, no email chase.
Cascade and Bolzoni rotators are good attachments. Ours rotate the same 360 degrees. The difference is the price that reaches your purchase order.

The physics of a slewing ring bearing and a planetary hydraulic motor are the same regardless of whose name is cast on the frame. We source, QC and ship the same attachment class — CE certified, full rotation, paperwork in the box — at forty-five percent below what a Cascade or Bolzoni dealer would quote you. The margin difference pays for a second unit or a fleet retrofit.
No portal, no sales gate. Send your forklift make/model, carriage class, load type and quantity — we'll come back with a published price, lead time and QC pack contents, usually within one business day.
