A pallet positioner (also called a self-leveling pallet positioner or pallet leveler) is a spring-loaded turntable that sits at floor level and automatically rises as product is removed from the pallet on top. The goal is to keep the working surface at a consistent ergonomic height so operators don't have to stoop deeper and deeper as a stack gets shorter. At peak production rates — assembly lines, picking stations, palletizing cells — a properly set positioner cuts back strain injuries and measurably improves pick speed. The same spring-tension physics that drive a self-leveling model power a mechanical skid lift; the work positioner adds battery drive for powered lift and travel in larger facilities.
