Walk-behind, battery-powered, built for tight spaces. 1,500 kg tow capacity, infinite throttle, dead-man safety standard — at 48% below what the name-brand tugger catalogs charge.

CE · DEAD-MAN SAFETY · 24 V
The JL-ET is a walk-behind electric tug for industrial facilities, hospitals, airports, distribution centres and any operation that needs to move heavy carts, trailers or roll containers without a licence, a lane, or a spotter. It's rated to pull 1,500 kg — enough for a loaded linen cart, a fully stacked mail cage, a production trolley, or a goods trailer on a flat floor.
The drive system is a DC 24 V / 1,200 W motor fed by two 12 V / 70 Ah batteries. Top speed is 5 km/h — fast enough to cover ground, slow enough to navigate a busy aisle without putting people at risk. The throttle is infinite-variable: a twist-grip that goes from crawl to full pull in the operator's hand, not a stepped pedal. The spring-loaded pin hitch connects to most standard industrial cart hitch points without modification.
The dead-man switch is the handle you hold. Release it and the tug stops. There's no coast, no drift, no moment where a 1,500 kg load keeps moving because the operator let go. That's the single most important safety feature on a pedestrian tug and it's standard on the JL-ET, not an option.
The 24 V / 10 A charger is integrated into the housing. Plug into any standard outlet at the end of a shift. No dedicated charging station, no separate charger unit to track, no cable hunting. The battery level gauge on the control panel shows remaining capacity while you're moving.
No spec ambiguity — every dimension and rating is on the page. No "contact us for details," no fine print.

Specs verified against factory data sheet. Manual forward tilt capability allows coupling to low-hitch carts.
Pedestrian tugs fail in three predictable ways: the throttle sticks, the battery dies mid-shift, or the safety system gets bypassed. We spec'd against all three.
Release the handle and the tug stops — full stop, no coast. The one safety feature that matters most on a pedestrian machine is standard, not an option.
Twist-grip gives you every speed from creep to full pull. Precise positioning in a crowded aisle or dock without hunting between fixed gear steps.
24 V / 10 A charger lives inside the unit. Plug into any outlet at shift end. No separate charger unit, no dedicated charging bay, no lost cables.
310 × 115 mm foam-rubber gives traction on smooth warehouse floors and resilience on rougher dock surfaces without inflating or going flat mid-shift.
Connects to most standard industrial cart hitch points without modification. Spring-loading means one-hand coupling — no second person, no tool.
Tight enough to operate in hospital corridors, airport gate areas, and narrow warehouse aisles where a ride-on machine simply can't go.
Every JL-ET ships with the documentation a facility manager or safety officer actually asks for. Packed with the unit, not emailed three weeks later.
Western-brand pedestrian electric tuggers in the 1,500 kg class cost what they cost because of the brand badge and the dealer network behind it — not because the hardware is meaningfully different.

The drive motor, the hitch, the dead-man switch, the foam-rubber wheel — none of it gets better when the price goes up by $4,000. The brand premium funds the catalogue and the distributor margin. We publish the price they hide and let the spec sheet do the talking.
No portal, no sales gate. Send your tow weight, floor type and quantity — we'll reply with a published price, lead time and the QC pack contents, usually within one business day.
