The JL-EPT is a pedestrian-operated electric pallet truck built for warehouses, loading docks and distribution centres that move pallets all day and don't want to babysit a pump handle. The 0.65 kW drive motor handles 1,500 kg. A 24V / 70 Ah lead-acid battery keeps the truck running through a full shift, with an on-board charger so you plug into any standard outlet between shifts — no separate charger cabinet required.
The 560 / 685 mm outside fork width covers standard 1,200 × 800 mm and 1,200 × 1,000 mm pallets. The tiller folds up when the truck is parked. Fork height runs from 85 mm lowered to 205 mm raised, same geometry as the manual HP trucks, so operators switch between them without relearning anything. Turning radius is 1,460 mm.
The Crown WP is a good truck. It is also priced on the assumption that you're paying for a dealer network, a national service contract infrastructure, a brand badge, and the privilege of calling an 800 number when something breaks. The JL-EPT is the same pedestrian electric walkie category, built in Jiangsu to the same EN standards, QC'd in Toronto, and priced at what it actually costs to make — not what the badge allows.
