CE Certified 300 kg Capacity Spring-Loaded Rim Clamp On/Off Pallet Placement Standard + Low-Profile Steel / Plastic / Fibre Drums

Roll it to the drum. Clamp. Lift. No forklift required.

The JL-DL is a wheeled hydraulic drum lifter for moving 55-gallon rimmed drums on and off pallets without a forklift. Roll it to the drum, lower the spring-loaded rim clamps over the drum's upper rolling hoop — they engage automatically — then pump the handle to raise the drum 805 mm. That's enough height to clear a standard pallet and place the drum onto low racking. Set it down, roll out, and the clamps release when the weight lifts off.

Two variants: the DT300A standard uses 125 × 32 mm front and rear wheels for stable rolling on warehouse floors. The DT300B low-profile uses compact 64 × 37 mm front and 80 × 32 mm rear castors — a lower overall profile that fits under drums stored in tight low-clearance racking bays where the standard model's wheel height would prevent positioning. Both carry 300 kg and handle the same 572 mm standard 55-gallon drum. The DT300B is 4 kg lighter at 68 kg versus 72 kg for the DT300A.

Pick the right variant

The DT300A is the default — larger wheels give more stable rolling when manoeuvring between storage locations. The DT300B is the right call when your racking bay or drum storage area has a low sill or a tight floor clearance that makes the extra height of the DT300A's wheels a problem. If you're placing drums into low racking or working in a tight floor-level bay, measure the clearance from the drum's base to the lowest obstruction — if it's under 200 mm, specify the DT300B.

Six things this drum lifter does right where manual handling goes wrong.

Moving a 300 kg drum onto a pallet by hand is a two-person job at best, a back injury at worst. The spring-loaded rim clamp and 805 mm lift height handle the hard part.

Spring-loaded auto-clamp

The rim clamps engage automatically when lowered over the drum. No manual pins, no ratchets, no tools. Lower the lifter over the drum, it grabs the rolling hoop, you pump the handle.

805 mm lift height for pallet placement

The 805 mm hydraulic lift height clears a standard pallet deck and the lower shelf of most pallet racking. Lift the drum, roll it to the pallet position, lower it into place.

Low-profile variant for tight bays

The DT300B compact castor design reduces the overall height of the lifter chassis. When the racking bay floor clearance or drum storage sill height makes the standard model impractical, the DT300B fits where the DT300A can't.

Rim-contact grip — not band or sling

The clamp contacts the drum's upper rolling hoop — the structural feature designed to carry that load. It's not a band around the drum body that can slip on a filled plastic drum, and it's not a sling under the base.

Steel, plastic and fibre drums

All three drum materials with a standard upper rolling hoop are compatible. The same lifter handles the steel chemical drums, the plastic ingredient drums and the fibre export drums without a change-out.

Floor-mobile — no crane required

The wheeled chassis rolls on any warehouse floor surface. No crane, hoist, or ceiling attachment needed. One operator, no overhead infrastructure, no clearance planning around a suspended load.

Same wheeled drum lifter. Nearly half the brand price.

The branded wheeled drum lifters at catalog price use the same spring-clamp mechanism and rolled-steel frame construction. The premium goes to the distributor, not the spring.

A wheeled drum lifter with a spring-loaded rim clamp and a 300 kg rating shouldn't cost twice as much because a distributor got between you and the factory.

Same spring-clamp mechanism. Same welded-steel frame. Same 805 mm lift height. We publish the price the rest of the industry hides behind a quote — because the quote never protected anything except the markup.
