The JL-DD is a drum dumper and tipper for the floor-level operation that needs to lift a 200-litre drum, tilt it to pour or empty the contents, and then transport it to the next station — all without a forklift, a crane, or an extra pair of hands holding the drum steady. It handles steel drums with rolling hoops, and plastic and fibre drums from Ø400 to Ø600 mm.
The WB30 manual uses a foot-pedal hydraulic pump to lift and a hand crank to tilt. The WE30 electric replaces both with a 1.5 kW motor and a 12V/60Ah battery — the electric lift speed is approximately 40 mm/s, controlled from a push-button panel. Both carry 300 kg — a full 200-litre steel drum.
On a drum rotator, the pipe-breakage protection valve is a nice-to-have. On a drum dumper, it's a requirement. When you're lifting a drum to tip its contents into a hopper or a process vessel at height, a hydraulic line failure without that valve means the drum drops. The JL-DD cylinder holds position on line failure — standard, not optional, on both variants.

Drum dumpers fail when the hydraulic holds aren't reliable, when the drum isn't secured during tipping, or when the unit rolls while the drum is elevated. We addressed all three.
If a hydraulic line fails at height, the cylinder holds position. The drum doesn't drop. This valve is standard on every JL-DD — it's not an upgrade or an option on a safety-critical unit.
Rated for a full 200-litre steel drum at 300 kg. The capacity on the plate is the capacity on the floor — not a tare-weight or partial-fill number.
Lock the castor before you start lifting. The unit doesn't roll under load — the wheel stop holds it at station while the drum is elevated and tipping.
Ø400–600 mm covers standard 200-litre steel drums with rolling hoops plus plastic and fibre drums. One dumper handles the whole drum inventory on the floor.
The WB30 foot-pedal hydraulic suits low-frequency dumping where a battery isn't worth maintaining. The WE30 electric reduces operator effort on high-cycle lines. Both carry the same load.
Once the drum is emptied, the cradle lowers and the unit rolls to the next station on solid rubber castors. No separate drum dolly required — the dumper moves the drum end-to-end.
Every JL-DD ships with the documentation a safety officer or procurement team asks for, packed in the crate with the unit.
