The JL-TT is a seated ride-on electric tow tractor for operations that move heavy loads repeatedly across a facility — automotive assembly, airport ground support, large distribution centres, rail yards, food and beverage plants. Two variants cover the most common tow requirements: JL-TT 30 at 3 tons and JL-TT 60 at 6 tons. The same AC-driven platform underlies both.
The drive system uses an AC controller with quick response and accurate speed control. It also includes regenerative braking — meaning the motor captures energy on deceleration and returns it to the battery instead of dumping it as heat. Over a full shift of repeated towing cycles, that's a real extension in run time. When the battery does need changing, access is from the side: roll the pack out, roll in a fresh one, carry on. No teardown, no crane.
Three tons handles the majority of trolley-train and cart-towing applications in manufacturing and warehousing. Six tons is for heavier roll stock, aerospace carts, automotive subassembly fixtures, and any application where a fully loaded train of trailers tips the combined gross weight above what a 3-ton machine should pull. If you know your worst-case gross tow weight, pick that variant — there's no mechanical downside to running a 6-ton machine on a 3-ton train.
The steering wheel adjusts for operator height and reach. The controls are laid out like a vehicle, not like repurposed forklift controls. Operators who drive a car can operate this machine without an extended training cycle.
